Hot Chocolate Mix
The easiest way (and I am all about keeping Christmas as simple as possible) is to run to the grocery store and pick up some packets of hot cocoa mix. The photos here feature Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate packets in a cute mug. I then wrapped the mug in cellophane and tied the adorable gift tag on with a ribbon. Easy peasy!
You can also use cans of hot chocolate mix to give to families. I’d still wrap it in cellophane and tie it with a ribbon.

Hot Chocolate Mix with Fun Toppings
Different toppings are a fun way to spruce up your gift. You can use the simple hot cocoa packets but also include mini marshmallows, chocolate chips, and candy canes. You can make a mix of marshmallows, chocolate, and candy cane bits and put them in a decorative baggie.

Homemade Hot Cocoa Mix
If you have a delicious recipe you love for hot chocolate mix, make that up and put it in a mason jar. Then you can use the free gift tags to tie onto the jar. Use the back of the gift tags to write down the instructions for using the homemade hot cocoa mix.

Hot cocoa bombs have become very popular recently. Instead of using powdered mixes, you can fill a holiday-themed mug with hot cocoa bombs instead. To use the free printables:
1. Once you have downloaded your printable, print them out on to white paper card stock. They will print four to a page, so print as many as you need.
2. Cut out the gift tags with either scissors or a paper cutter.
3. Using a hole punch, punch a hole in the top left corner of the gift tag.
4. Tie the gift tag to your hot chocolate gift using a bit of ribbon. I like to keep it simple with red or gold ribbon for the holidays, but Christmas-themed ribbon is also super fun!
5. For an extra special touch, you can personalize your gift by writing a little note on the back of the tag.
